Welcome to University West’s research blog about Work integrated Learning (WIL).

Through the blog, we want to actively stimulate a theoretically grounded and critical discussion about how WIL can be understood as a multifaceted phenomenon, concept, or research area. We envision that such a discussion will illustrate and develop the core and the elasticity of WIL.

In the blog, you will meet a flow of voices that provide a pluralistic perspective on WIL as well as concrete examples of WIL “in action”. Possible blog themes are for instance Knowledge gaps and global trends in WIL research, Societal impact through WIL and Philosophical perspectives on WIL. We believe that an open problematisation of WIL can trigger new insights in how to approach current challenges in a rapidly changing working life.
